RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF WARDER/FEMALE WARDER UNDER DIRECTORATE OF CORRECTIONAL SERVICES , GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL -2019

Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens having following eligibility criteria for recruitment to the post of Warder/Female Warder under Directorate of Correctional Services , Government of West Bengal – 2019 .

Eligibility Criteria :-

(1)     Age :-  The applicant must not be less than 18 ( Eighteen ) years old and must not be more than 27 ( Twenty Seven ) years old as on 01.01.2019 .

        The upper age limit shall be relaxed by 05 (Five) years for the candidates belonging to the categories of Scheduled Castes (SC) & Scheduled Tribes (ST) and by 03 (Three) years for the candidates belonging to the categories of Other Backward Classes (OBC) .  The upper age limit is also relaxable  for the Ex-servicemen as per existing Government rules.

(2)     Educational Qualifications: - The applicant must have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of secondary Education or its equivalent.

(3)     Acquisition of Computer Literacy: - The candidate must have certificate of computer literacy issued by the training centers under West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development or Youth Computer Training Centre. Certificate issued by the authorities other than those mentioned above will not be considered in determining the eligibility criteria.

Application Forms may be submitted through on-line or off-line modes during the period from 15.02.2019 to 14.03.2019 (5 PM) for which the link will be available in the website of West Bengal Police wbpolice.gov.in

The last date of receipt of filled in Application Form through postal services (for off-line applicants) is 14.03.2019 (5 PM).

The last date of Application and / or Processing Fees in respect of only the applicants applying through on-line using United Bank of India Challan will be 16.03.2019 during banking hours due to technical reasons.

   The selection process by the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board is transparent and purely merit-based.
